Guinevere really inspires me and I hope I've captured her in a way that many other women will see her beauty and strength.ANNEMARIEKE VAN DRIMMELEN
Using New York City’s West Village as a backdrop for our latest campaign shoot, Fall 2016 invokes an intimate view of the new Anne Klein woman. A quiet townhouse sets a serene scene, while rustled sheets, stacked books and playful moments with her baby capture subtle snapshots from this modern woman’s multi-layered life.
Led by Anne Klein Creative Director Sharon Lombardo and Hans Dorsinville at Laird + Partners, the brand’s latest effort is the result of a collaboration with fashion’s top talent. Photographed by Annemarieke Van Drimmelen, and styled by Ludivine Poiblanc, the two captured iconic model Guinevere Van Seenus’ sensual yet strong spirit.
The images celebrate women – authentic, compassionate, modern and thoroughly Anne Klein.
I think women today don't want to be fashion victims but want a wardrobe that makes them feel beautiful and chic. The looks were not there to overpower the woman but to serve the woman who is strong and empowered.LUDIVINE POIBLANC
The vision for the Fall campaign was to create a narrative that felt personal, intimate, sophisticated and celebrated the imperfect. Something that reflects the reality of the modern women using a unique and distinctive visual language. This campaign provided an opportunity to establish a new direction for the brand by capturing the Anne Klein woman versus only showing a model. Guinevere had all the qualities we were looking for: character, unconventional beauty, depth, strength and sensuality.HANS DORSINVILLE
This campaign was so important to me, because it was the first illustration of our vision of the new Anne Klein. It was such a gift to work with the likes of AnneMarieke, Guinevere and Ludivine. They so brilliantly brought our vision to reality by creating such compelling images.SHARON LOMBARDO
